Amy handles a wide range of litigation and international commercial arbitration matters.
She has acted for clients from a variety of sectors, including healthcare, construction, coal, ferrous metals, banking and finance, shipping, hospitality, food and beverage and telecommunications.
The disputes handled by Amy relate to a wide spectrum of issues arising from joint venture agreements, shareholder agreements, breach of fiduciary duties, licensing agreements, construction contracts, contracts for the sale of goods, tenancy agreements, employment agreements, trusts, and bankruptcy and restructuring.
Amy has acted for clients at all levels of the Singapore Courts, in arbitrations under the Singapore International Arbitration Centre, the International Chamber of Commerce, and ad hoc arbitrations.
Amy represented the National University of Singapore in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in 2011.
Amy teaches civil procedure and advocacy to future lawyers as part of the bar course, and sits on the Advocacy Committee of the Law Society.
Amy has also taught the advocacy course at NUS and continues to be part of the NUS Law Alumni Mentor Programme.

Assisted a SGX listed company to successfully obtain summary judgment for breach of contract, which was upheld on appeal to the Court of Appeal (KLW Holdings Ltd v Straitsworld Advisory Ltd and Another  SGHC 35).
Assisted a Chinese company in enforcing a CIETAC arbitral award, and successfully resisted an application to refuse enforcement on the grounds of excess of scope and public policy, which was upheld on appeal to the Court of Appeal (Quanzhou Sanhong Trading Limited Liability Co Ltd v ADM Asia-Pacific Trading Pte Ltd  SGHC 199).
Assisted a shipping company with Burmese ties in its claim for the recovery of a loan, and its defence against the counterclaim for an alleged breach of a sale and purchase of a tugboat. Value in dispute in excess of US$2 million. Successfully struck out the defendant’s duplicate writ (Terrestrial Pte Ltd v. Allgo Marine Pte Ltd  3 SLR 527). Successfully obtained summary judgment, which was upheld by the Court of Appeal (Terrestrial Pte Ltd v. Allgo Marine Pte Ltd  1 SLR 985; Allgo Marine Pte Ltd v. Terrestrial Pte Ltd  2 SLR497).
Assisted a construction company in defending Court of Appeal proceedings against a HC decision not to grant a stay of proceedings in favour of arbitration on part of the interim certificates (HP Construction & Engineering Pte Ltd v Ivan Chin  3 SLR 1318 and  SGCA 14).
Assisted a construction company in successfully resisting a claim for wrongful termination and counterclaiming for damages. Conducted cross-examination during the High Court trial (CAA Technologies v HP Construction & Engineering Pte Ltd  SGHC 32).
