Singapore Data Festival webinar series #3
Drew Network Asia Webinar: Managing Cross-border Data Breaches involving Singapore and the Philippines
The digital economy in ASEAN is currently valued at over $300 billion and is expected to exceed $1 trillion by 2030 with significant growth in areas such as e-commerce, digital financial services and online media. Data transfers, including those involving personal data, are expected to play a significant role in facilitating this growth and organisations operating across ASEAN should be aware of legal and regulatory requirements relating to such transfers including, in particular, requirements relating to protection of personal data and management of data breaches. This series of webinars by Drew Network Asia features speakers from around the ASEAN region who will share their perspectives on how organisations can better address their legal and regulatory obligations and cyber risks in a cross-border context.
In our third webinar of the series, we shall look at issues relating to management of cross-border data transfers and data breaches between Singapore and the Philippines.
