The Legal 500 Country Comparative Guide to Litigation 2022

Drew & Napier contributed to the Singapore chapter in The Legal 500: Litigation Country Comparative Guide 2022 (5^th edition) which was recently launched. Deputy Managing Director of Dispute Resolution, Randolph Khoo, and Dispute Resolution directors Mahesh Rai and Adam Maniam, co-authored the chapter.

The chapter provides an overview of the law and practice of litigation and dispute resolution in Singapore. It contains information about current issues affecting these practices and addresses topics such as the methods of resolving disputes, details of the relevant processes and proceedings, courts and their jurisdiction, pre-emptive remedies and summary disposal procedures, liability for costs, methods of domestic and cross-border enforcement and appeals.

The three directors also provided insights and opinions on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on litigation in Singapore, the most likely growth areas for disputes work over the next five years, and the impact of technology on commercial litigation, amongst others.
