Court of Appeal expounds on the Court’s jurisdictional bases to grant anti-suit injunctions

In the recent Court of Appeal decision of BCS Business Consulting Services Pte Ltd and others v Baker, Michael A (executor of the estate of Chantal Burnison, deceased) [2022] SGCA(I) 7, the Court of Appeal expounded on the Court’s inherent and equitable jurisdictions to grant anti-suit injunctions. Director Woo Shu Yan, Associate Directors Gerald Tay and Regina Lim, and Associates Jonathan Mok and Natalie Yeo successfully acted for Michael Baker (executor of the estate of Chantal Burnison), the Respondent in this matter.
