The Monetary Authority of Singapore has issued a notice on cyber hygiene practices for financial institutions to adopt, to reduce the risk of cyber-attacks. We discuss what these directions mean, and how financial institutions can protect themselves in an environment increasingly rife with cyber threats, which have now increased in the COVID-19 era with remote working.
