SGX announces mandatory sustainability training for listed company directors

The Singapore Exchange Regulation (“SGX Regco”) recently announced eight sustainability training courses that directors of listed companies can attend to equip themselves with basic knowledge on sustainability matters.

This update aims to remind directors that they must attend one of the courses in order to meet the enhanced Singapore Exchange (“SGX”) sustainability reporting rules that have mandated sustainability training for all board directors of issuers listed on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (“SGX-ST”).
