High Court holds that NFTs may be property

In Janesh s/o Rajukumar v Unknown Person (“CHEFPIERRE”) [2022] SGHC 264, the High Court held that injunctions can be granted against persons unknown, so long as the claimant has provided a sufficient description to identify the defendant. The High Court also held that Non-Fungible Tokens may be proprietary assets.
