The Monetary Authority of Singapore published a consultation paper on 3 July 2023, proposing new regulatory measures to address market integrity concerns and investor protection issues in the digital payment token markets. 

In this update, Directors Chua Tju Liang and Benjamin Gaw summarise the measures and prohibitions proposed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore that may be generally applicable to not just digital payment token service providers, but all market participants as well.
