Heru Mardijarto is a Partner in the Firm’s Corporate and Commercial department. His expertise includes General Corporate matters, Energy and Natural Resources, Construction, and IT and telecommunications. He has advised many major international clients as well as Indonesian state own companies in relation to power plants as well as construction projects.

He also has extensive experience in handling the procurement/tender process in both government and private institutions. Specifically, for construction projects, he has been involved in some big construction projects for electric power plants, a blast furnace, and the construction of the Grissik – Singapore borderline gas pipeline. Recently, he has been actively involved in handling Data Protection legal issues and provided advice on them to both local and overseas clients.


  • Represented PT Ceria Nugraha Indotama in the development projects for the CNI Lapaopao Block Laterite RKEF with one 72MVA RKEF in Indonesia as one of the landmark smelter projects in Indonesia 100% owned by Indonesian party. Our involvement includes the preparation and negotiation of the EPC Contracts with one of the Chinese State Owned Entity in a joint operation with a Indonesian State Owned Entity acting as the EPC Contractors
  • Represented certain Embassy in the review of the construction contract for the construction of the Embassy office in Jakarta
  • Represented PT FMC Technologies Subsea Indonesia (TechnipFMC plc group) on structuring of TechnipFMC group's construction business in Indonesia
  • Represented China Nonferrous Metal Industry's Foreign Engineering and Construction Co. Ltd. on the implementation of its construction works in Indonesia
  • Represented PT Kertanegara Energi Perkasa in a contract negotiation of Engineering Procurement Construction contract for the expansion of the Senipah Gas Turbine Power Plant STEAM TAIL Project, 1 x 25 MW Steam Turbine

Foreign Investment

  • Represented Harbison Walker International on various general corporate matters

Mining & Energy

  • Represented PT Tenaga Listrik Bengkulu in the preparation of the Coal Supply Agreements and Operation and Maintenance Agreement for its 2 x 100MW Coal Fired Power Plant in Bengkulu

IT & Telecommunication

  • Represented Badan Aksesibilitas Telekomunikasi and Informasi (BAKTI) Ministry of Communication and Information on the structure of the USO Last Mile Project for the provision of 5000 Transmission Towers in Indonesia’s most remote areas


  • Represented Thales NSEA Pte. Ltd. in relation to the provision of military or defence equipment in Indonesia


  • Represented PT Geo Dipa Energi (Persero) Tbk. in submitting the police reports and litigation related works
